Firefly will take place July 3-6, 2008. Tickets are $40/each and are only available before the event. There will not be any ticket sales at the gate. Ticket sales are limited to 4 per person.
Ticket sales officially begin on May 12 - preregistration for tickets is open right now and is recommended.
To order tickets you must first register with a working email address, then follow the link and enter in your mailing information (tickets will be mailed to that address.) You can preregister now or register when ticket sales begin on May 12. Preregistering beforehand is recommended so your ticket ordering is not delayed. Preregistering does not guarantee you a ticket - it will just speed up the process once tickets go on sale. You must have cookies enabled to order tickets through the site.
A note on email and ticketing: Registering and verifying your email address is required so there is a certain way to communicate with you before the event. All email providers (like Google, Yahoo, etc.) filter their incoming messages for spam - sometimes messages that should get to you end up in your junk mail folder, and often will not even get to you. Yahoo is the biggest culprit of both not delivering email and delaying its delivery. Please check your junk mail folder and white-list Firefly addresses if this is a problem.
Firefly only accepts credit card payments through PayPal - other methods such as personal checks have proven too problematic. All major credit cards (Amex, Discover, Visa and Mastercard) can be used to purchase Firefly tickets through PayPal. You will also have the option of paying without needing to setup a PayPal account. Please do not try and order tickets by going directly to the PayPal site - ticket sales are through the Firefly web site only.
Firefly is run and organized by volunteers. Everything from managing ticket sales to wood gathering is up to the participants - THIS EVENT HAPPENS BECAUSE OF YOUR HELP. Please take a moment to think about how you will contribute this year. The best ways to initially get involved are to make contact through the Volunteer information page, email one of the group organizers, or contact the volunteer coordinator at: volunteer@fireflyartscollective.org.
Firefly is all about creating an experience for yourself and others. Please be sure you have read over the web site, especially the Event Guide, so you have an understanding of the event and your role in it.
